Honors Courses
Honors Courses are sections that are taught at an Honors level. All the students in the class meet the requirements and want an honors experience. Honors sections do not necessarily mean more work in terms of number of pages or math problems, but they require more challenging work. This means that the work involves more in-depth analysis, higher level skills, and/or types of assignments (e.g. primary research) not assigned in regular classes. The basic course information is the same as all other sections of the course.
Honors Courses are listed on the course schedule each semester, with a note that students must have a 3.0 GPA.
