Quickstart is perfect for students interested in Business, Electrical Technology, Healthcare, HVACR, Teacher Education and Visual Arts.
Business Management
This quick start in business management will prepare you for a supervisory role in an office, administrative, or service industry. You will learn the basics of business accounting, get a broad understanding of the careers and organization of the business world, learn necessary skills in office technology and cybersecurity, and improve heavily sought-after communications skills.
Electrical Technology
This quick start in Electrical Technology will allow you to start working in the field while continuing your education to become an Electrician or Electrical Engineering Technician. Coursework will give you a basic understanding of electricity, digital circuit building, programmable controllers, and the ability to read a schematic or system diagram.
Healthcare
This quick start in Healthcare will prepare you for a role in the growing healthcare industry. You will learn about the career paths in the healthcare field, an introduction to health information technology, medical terminology, and communications skills needed to interface with coworkers and patients.
HVACR
This quick start in heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration will prepare you to start working in the field while continuing your education to full HVAC technician status. Coursework will give you a basic understanding of electricity and the ability to read a schematic or system diagram.
